In addition, Priest Dragoslav Kosic from the St. Savva Serbian Church in Parma, OH. At the Hours cathedral parishioner Simeon Kamazantsev was tonsured a Reader for service at the St. Sergius Cathedral. Dozens of the faithful partook of Holy Communion from two chalices. At the end of the Liturgy, according to the Slavic Church tradition, a cross procession was held in the beautiful Ohio sunshine. Following the kissing of the cross the cathedral sisterhood offered a festive meal to all in attendance. Many of the gathered faithful lingered long into the afternoon sharing stories of past cathedral feast days as they celebrated the Second Pascha of their parish. After the meal Archbishop Peter departed for the Skete of St. John the Theologian where the brotherhood will celebrate the minor feast of their monastery on October 9.
