Fr. Artemy Vladimirov Visits St. Vladimir Church, Ann Arbor, M - 04/19/11

With the blessing of His Grace, Bishop Peter of Cleveland, on Saturday April 9, 2011 Archpriest Artemy Vladimirov visited St. Vladimir Church in Ann Arbor, MI.  Fr. Artemy is the Rector of All Saints Church in Krasnoe Selo in Moscow, as well as a professor at St. Tikhon’s Humanities University in Moscow.  Fr. Artemy served the Divine Liturgy for the feast of the Laudation of the Mother of God with parish Rector Priest Gregory Joyce, Archpriest Roman Star (St. Innocent Russian Orthodox Church, Redford, MI), Hieromonk Alexander (Holy Cross Hermitage, Wayne, WV), and parish Deacon John Feloniuk. After the Divine Liturgy the parish’s St. Xenia Sisterhood prepared a Lenten meal for all in attendance and Fr. Artemy presented a spiritual lecture in English.  The entire lecture can be found at this link:

Fr. Artemy’s visit marked the Keynote event of St. Vladimir Church’s 30th Anniversary.  The main celebration of the anniversary will take place on July 27-28, 2011 at the Divine Services for the Holy Great Prince Vladimir in Ann Arbor at which His Eminence, Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern American and New York will preside.  More information is available at the St. Vladimir parish web site:
