From the Diocesan Office

We regret to inform the clergy and faithful of our diocese that Priest Michael Comerford has reposed in the Lord. Fr. Michael was ordained only a few years ago to help Fr. James Rohrer in Urbana, Ohio. Shortly after his priestly ordination Fr. Michael fell ill, and suffered with dementia. He subsequently moved to Cleveland so that his daughter could care for him. Fr. Ilia Marzev was overseeing his spiritual care. Fr. Michael's 40th day is January 8/21, 2025. We ask your prayers for Fr. Michael's soul, and for his grieving family.
