His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, visited the historic Holy Trinity Cathedral in Chicago, Illinois.

On Thursday, June 30/July 13, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, visited the historic Holy Trinity Cathedral in Chicago, Illinois. Metropolitan Nicholas was hosted by the ruling bishop of the Diocese of Chicago and the Midwest of the Orthodox Church in American, His Eminence Archbishop Daniel. Joining Metropolitan Nicholas and Archbishop Daniel were Bishop John of Caracas & South America, Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, as well as a large delegration of local clergymen of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia. Following the tour of the cathedral, the hierarchs had the opportunity to discuss inter-Orthodox relations and shared goals regarding the spread of Orthodox Christianity in North America.
