Lansing Parish Celebrates 15 Years

On the summer feast of St. Seraphim of Sarov, July 18/August 1, he community named after the great ascetic celebrated its 15th anniversary. Unfortunately, Archpriest Paul Waters, who often serves this community that does not have permanent priest yet assigned to it, took ill a few days before the feast and it was not possible to serve Liturgy. However, a Reader’s service was held on the day of the feast with faithful from throughout the Michigan Deanery participating. We provide pictures here from the feast day and ask the prayers of our faithful readers for the success of the St. Seraphim Mission, the future priest who will serve the Mission, and especially for Fr. Paul Waters as he recovers from his illness. A
