"Having returned from an official trip to Russia to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the glorification of St. John of Kronstadt by the Moscow Patriarchate, I was made aware of the details of the murder of the those innocently praying and studying the scriptures in their parish church on June 17, 2015 in Charleston, South Carolina. We request the prayers of our flock for the souls of the reposed and the comfort of the grieving family and friends. May the merciful Lord help all who have been affected by this tragedy."
