ORPR Camp, located in rural northern Illinois, provides our Russian Orthodox Youth with a month of instruction in Russian Orthodox Religion, Russian Culture, History and scouting in a comfortable camp setting. The camp session runs the entire month of July and also includes activities such as swimming, hiking, scavenger hunts, campfires, sports and arts & crafts.
Mission
To support the youth of the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia and to help them grow spiritually, emotionally, culturally, and socially through a month-long residential camp. ORPR fosters a positive, safe, and loving environment that promotes healthy connections with other Orthodox Christians and nurtures future leaders.
Vision
Our passionate members and volunteers improve lives and instill our values by fostering year-round youth development, family involvement, healthy relationships, and spiritual growth.
