Triumph of Orthodoxy

Served only in cathedrals by a bishop, the Rite of Orthodoxy is performed at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy on the First Sunday of Great Lent. As Bishop Peter has stressed many times, the Church does not condemn anyone in its list of anathemas. Rather, it serves as a warning and guide for us to recognize various heresies lest one found oneself outside the Church and in a position wherein the Church cannot answer for us. For those that might be interested in reading the text of this very interesting service, you can download a copy of the Rite of Orthodoxy service here.
