This year marks the 1025th anniversary of the adoption of Christianity in Rus with the baptism of Great Prince Vladimir and the people of Kiev.  in celebration of this event, the diocese of Chicago and Mid-America will mark this with a triumphant hierarchical Divine Liturgy served on St. Vladimir's Day, Sunday, July 28th, at the ORPR Diocesan Summer Camp in Vladimirovo (Lost Lake), Illinois.  All are welcome to attend.  The services will include a Great Blessing of the Waters at 7:30 AM, followed by Hierarchical Divine Liturgy beginning at 9 AM and a procession with the cross.  A luncheon and performance put on by the campers will follow.  Please see the attached flyer for further information and directions to camp.
