On Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4, campers and counselors from the diocesan youth camp ORPR visited St. Vladimir's Church near Ann Arbor, MI. The rector of St. Vladimir's, Fr. Gregory Joyce, together with the parishioners, warmly welcomed the representatives from ORPR.
The campers and counselors participated in the services, which commemorated the Triumph of Orthodoxy, by singing and reading in the choir and by helping to serve in the altar. During the fellowship meal which followed, they gave a presentation about ORPR, inviting families with children to consider attending our youth camp this July. Afterward, the campers were treated to a tour of the University of Michigan campus by alumnus Karl Meyer, the church warden.
ORPR sincerely thanks Fr. Gregory and the parishioners St. Vladimir's for their generous and gracious hospitality!
