Bone marrow drive
On Forgiveness Sunday, February 26th, the Holy Virgin Protection Cathedral in Chicago will be holding a bone marrow donor drive for Nicholas Motoviloff, the starosta of the Holy Virgin Cathedral in San Francisco who is ill and in need of a bone marrow transplant. A similar search in San Francisco found no matches. The family is hoping that a match can be found amongst our parishioners. The screening takes just minutes and is not invasive. Anyone visiting the Chicago area and attending services on this weekend before the beginning of Great Lent is more than welcome to participate.
