10th Anniversary Open House at St. Herman Church, Woodbury, MI
St. Herman’s Orthodox Church will have an Open House on Sunday, October 3rd. The event celebrates their 10th anniversary as a parish community and their 4th year in the Lakewood area.
A pig roast will be served from 12:30 until 4:30 or the food runs out. The dinner is free to all guests, but donations will be gratefully accepted to support Manna’s Market (see their website at: www.mannasmarket.org.) The event also includes live music, church tours, and an art display.
The schedule begins with Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. There will be a choir concert at 1:30 , and church tours at 2:00 and 4:00 . A live band playing Celtic music will entertain the guests throughout the afternoon.
St. Herman’s is located at 216 Maple St. in Lake Odessa/Woodbury and meets in the former Woodbury United Brethren church. Its blue roof and gold cross are clearly visible from the intersection of M-66 and M-50. For further information please contact Fr.
