His Eminence Archbishop Peter is pleased to announce that Priest Leonty Naidzions and Protodeacon Alexander Kichakov, both clerics of the Holy Virgin Protection Cathedral in Des Plaines, IL, have been accepted into the Master’s program at Kiev Theological Academy for the fall 2019 semester. We ask the prayers of the faithful for Frs. Leonty and Alexander, as well as their families, as they begin their studies. Archbishop Peter continues to encourage all the clergymen of the diocese to deepen their theological education whenever possible. For most of our clergymen this would mean continuing education credits in our Diocesan Pastoral School. The deadline to apply for acceptance into the Pastoral School is September 1.
