2015 DCMA ST HERMAN CONFERENCE

Our annual diocesan St. Herman Conference moves south this year to the big state of Texas!

St. Nicholas parish in the Dallas suburb of McKinney will be hosting this year's event from Monday, December 28, 2015 through Friday, January 1, 2016.

Two of our guest speakers, Fr. Sergei Sveshnikov and Matushka Elizaveta Temidis will discuss the Orthodox understanding of marriage. Fr. Seraphim Holland will share his insights from his work in prison ministry.

The conference will conclude with a hierarchical liturgy served by His Grace, Bishop Peter.

We will be staying at Collins Camp (https://www.ymcadallas.org/locations/collin_county_adventure_camp/) and enjoying their zip line, ropes course and other activities.

We plan to do some sight-seeing around Dallas, including a visit to the Grassy Knoll where president Kennedy was assassinated.

The cost for food, lodging and all activities is $170. The conference is for college and high school youth age 14 and older.
