Feast Day of St. Jonah of Manchuria Parish
With the blessing of Bishop Peter of Cleveland, Archbishop Gabriel (Chemodakov) of Montreal visited St. Jonah Orthodox Church in Spring, Texas on the eve of their patronal feast (October 19th). Vladika Gabriel was the bishop who blessed the founding of the parish, in 1998; and after 16 years, he was able to see how the parish he started has grown. The Liturgy was followed by a Cross Procession, and then a festive meal, which included a performance of the Houston Balalaika Society Orchestra.
